Lot 118 — Fiber Recovery Facility, Est. 2014
Horizon Progressive collects, sorts, and mechanically recycles post-industrial and post-consumer textiles into fiber ready for new production — diverting waste from landfill and cutting demand for virgin fiber.
The line
Bulk pickup from mills, cutters, and municipal drop points, staged by fiber type at intake.
Hand and optical sorting separates material by fiber content, color, and condition.
Sorted lots are graded, cleaned, and staged by fiber blend ahead of shredding.
Mechanical shredding breaks garments and cutting scrap down to raw, open fiber.
Recovered fiber is cleaned, blended, and respun into usable stock for new yarn.
Baled recycled fiber ships to spinners and manufacturers as recycled input.
What we take in
Scrap and remnants direct from garment and upholstery manufacturing floors.
Worn textiles collected through take-back programs and municipal partners.
Heavyweight cotton and denim, shredded into fiber for insulation and new yarn.
Poly-cotton and other blends processed on dedicated mechanical recovery lines.
Measured, not marketed
